I will follow that advice in fact I already do most of those things except drinking on the patio in this cold weather. Had flu jabs about a month ago.PS your Mother Christmas outfit suits you very well.
After a bad dose of 'Flu some years ago I was out of action for about a month in the end. I now always have mine. I know it is not 100%but at least it gives a better chance of avoiding the "real thing"
I had my flu shot a few weeks ago, but I will take the extra precautions that you suggest too! Time for that bloody mary now!

Yes, my husband and I got our flu shots. We haven't had the flu since we started getting the shots several years ago. We don't drink but we do drink lemon juice in water, take powerded Vitamin C, Flox Seed Oil, Daily Multi vitamin, eat lots of vegetables, fresh fruit, and we wash our hands often and especially after being in stores or pushing grocery carts.We keep the anti-bacterial gel in the car. If we get sick, we can always go back over this list and see something we did wrong that caused it.

I get a flu shot every fall. I also had my pneumonia shot last year which is supposed to last for, I think, seven years.

I strongly believe in washing hands plus i have hand sanitizer in every room. Also cleanse the throat with a bit of gin. I did have the nasty flu shot. You just don't know what is made up from.
30 years ago I had a type a flu—I have had one shot in all those years–I also got the pneumonia shot. This year I got the flu from my little grandson. Not a fun trip. prior to the last month healthy as a hog.
I'm scheduled for flu shot and pneumonia a week from tomorrow. I had a very nasty case of bacterial bronchitis this year, and because I also smoke and am around people all day long, the doc wanted me to get the shots.
hahahahahahah, getting my flu shot tuesday, but I try to eat healthy, get exercise , wash my hands frequently anyway. Cut down on the antibacterial soaps as they kill the ' good ' bacteria your body needs as well as the bad.

Don't believe in flu shots.. Had one many years ago and got deathly ill. The veggies, etc, are good ideas. Of course, laughter is the BEST medicine.

My self and the boys are taking part in a medical trial and research project we drink the alcohol and she takes the shots in the arm. I must say it seems to work she keeps on working and cleaning and doing the cooking(you know all the woman's stuff) and we go to the Pub, she does get upset if I meet her when she is finishing her day job to ask for a loan but we all get moody don't we?

I am planning to get my flu shot, but I take it later so it is still working for me well into April because that is how long the flu season lasts.I also like your health regimen as well. lol
