Do automobile shelter companies undergo when you obtain a agitated violation?
When you communicate for a newborn automobile shelter excerpt from your underway or a newborn bourgeois they ever communicate the discourse if you hit been participating in an happening or hit been pulled over fresh etc, etc. My discourse is, do they already undergo this content and are they maybe investigating me or do they rattling don't know? I've had digit agitated violations within the time 5 eld and I'm wondering how to respond these questions when I class for shelter on a newborn vehicle.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters if you have gotten a ticket or two or three, i would stay with the same company and not make too much noise. unless you get in an accident, the likelihood of the insruance company running your driving record is almost zero. they won't know. if you try to go to another company – they will run your driving record – bank on it. and, the ticket(s) will show up and their quote will be higher as a result. Your current company does not know about it. Stay w them and don't make any noise. Source(s): insurance agency owner for 10 years
YES, they already know.(they ALWAYS check with the DMV and court records) The only ones that are hidden is when you do the traffic school thing, and then the citation is dropped (you have to make sure to do everything right) and doesn't go on the record.I recently had this conversation with an ins. provider:Why are you charging more than the on-line quote I received? The record shows an accident you didn't tell us about.I haven't had any accidents in 25 years. There's an accident on your record.OH! that was my daughter, not me. She's on my policy. Can you prove that?If you have a record of it doesn't the record ALSO say who was involved???No sir, I'm sorry. You must provide proof.Take your policy and shove it!! I'll go elsewhere.
The best thing to do is to be honest with them. They don't already know that information, but they will almost certainly do a background check. They usually do a credit check, too. If they find out that you lied to them, they will raise your rates or even deny you coverage.
They can get the information if they feel it is worth checking on. They are mostly concerned with violations that lead to points being added to your license. At the time of the application they do not really know. They can check on it.
I moved from the West Coast to the East Coast, having had one ticket for speeding from 2 years earlier. I did the traffic court class thing at the time and didn't think anything more of it. Well, it was in the computer of the insurance company when I went to change over my insurance even though I did the class!
