   You will need a traders policy to be able to drive all the cars you want to drive. Then you will need to have a business in which to be able to get the policy. Fully comp insurance in most cases allow you to drive other vehicles third party only, IF the car you are driving you have the owners permission AND the car you are about to drive is insured by the owner. Do not take it for granted that you have fully comp insurance you can drive anything, if you get caught driving a car on your insurance but the car is not insured by the owner, you can get fined heavily, 6 points on your licence and the car you are driving can get crushed, the police have ANPR systems that can tell if a car is insured, so please take my advice and a few other answerer's advice, be careful because if you have an accident in an uninsured car you can and will be sued by the party involved even if you don't know if the car is insured or not Source(s): I spoke to my insurance 2 years ago to enquire if I am able to drive my mothers car, her car was not insured and was told no

   If you don't know this then I have a feeling you might be young, or a new driver in which case you would find it hard to get anyone to insure you f/c with any other cars on the policy. You can understand this as no insurer woudl want to cover you f/c on a fiat panda and then have you go off driving a friend's Lambo and mowing down a group of pensioners! You just have to call some people and ask, as no-one here has enough info to give you a quote or really advise on things we don't know. Remember though that even if you do get f/c insurance for you with other cars not owned by you, that insurance will only be 3rd party sdo if you do crash the friend's lambo, you will have to pay for any repairs for it!!The idea of a trader's policy is nice but it wont work unless you are a trader and it is very limited. Most traders policies only cover driving the other cars for test drives or to and from the owner's house. If you stop on the way and buy a loaf of bread and then try to claim they will say you were using it for domestic purposes and not pay out.

   You need fully comprehensive and check that you are entitled to drive any other car, with the car owners permission, for 3rd party cover on their car, I think you can get comprehensive cover on any car but you would have to ask for that specifically from your insurance company as that is not done as standard.

   You will need a "Traders insurance Policy" to be able to drive any other car, oh and deep pockets as they are not cheap. As said, SOME comprehensive policies allow you to drive another car with the owners permission on third party only cover BUT the vehicle must be insured by the owner also.I would never let anyone drive any of my cars with just 3rd party insurance and I know I am not the only one.

   ok the traders policy is rubbish fully comprehensive is enough as long as policy states you can drive other vehicles if it does for you to be able to do that the other car you want to drive has to have insurance and as for the top contributor saying i wouldnt let someone drive my on third party insurance get a grip you cant drive other cars without fully comprehensive lmfao Source(s): fully comprehensive insurance policy holder

   You will need a trader's policy. Even if you get fully comp you couldn't drive any car. Source(s): easy++

   Motor traders policy if you want fully comp cover for any car in the UK,
